Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress, best known for her film roles in Ray Undercover Brother and on the TV show The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actor and producer, who has been involved in the world of film and television. She began her acting career with theater, and was later featured in several TV shows and independent as well as mainstream films. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. In addition, she get praise from critics for her performance, but she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. Her first professional performance was in the role of Ariel as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The actress has appeared on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry she is most famous for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a regular on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
