Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress and film actor. She was alive from January 31st, 1937 to January 19th of 2008. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and was a part of films towards the end of the 1950s. She then appeared in notable films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Then, she appeared in various television productions and was frequently a guest actor. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978 which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on January 31, 1937, in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
